Swissôtel Amsterdam is another hotel on the Dam Square, not far from Hotel Krasnopolsky. While Krasnopolsky has five stars, Swissotel Amsterdam has only four, which makes it a bit cheaper, but with just as good location. One nice thing is that all rooms have their own espresso machine, the hotel has a fitness centre and wireless internet is available (against payment).
