The end of January each year Amsterdam International Fashion Week is held in the city. The Fashion Week presents the young and upcoming fashion in Europe. The main goal of the festival is to bring art closer through the clothes and to make fashion and art more available for everyone. Probably one of the most awaited events in the life of Amsterdam is the National Restaurant Week. Every year the restaurants in the city offers a full 3 course dinner for only € 25. The National Restaurant Week’s dates are not confirmed yet but it takes place usually in the last weeks of August. Apart from the National Restaurant Week the other popular festival in Amsterdam is the Holland Festival which will be held in the beginning of June. This will be the 68th Holland Festival and it is the biggest art festival in the Netherlands. It brings together the different forms of art such as opera, dance, theatre, films and art shows.

Apart from the countless festivals during the year the city will host some amazing concerts during 2015 as well. This year Amsterdam will give home some of the most popular artists such as Hozier, Slipknot, Usher, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj, Paul Simon and Sting, AWOLNATION, Charlie Winston, Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, U2 and so on. Every end of the year when Christmas is just around the corner the Christmas markets open their gates again in the city. The markets usually open in the middle of November and they are open until the end of the year.
