The Royal Palace (Koninklijk Palace) at Dam Square in Amsterdam was built between 1648 and 1655. The queen is not living there, but when important royal visitors drop by, the sometimes use the Royal Palace. Inside the Royal Palace there are many sculptures and paintings. Earlier the Royal Palace was open to visitors, but it is not open to visitors anymore now.
