Keukenhof

Keukenhof, also known as the Garden of Europe, is the world’s largest flower garden. According to the official website for the Keukenhof Park, approximately 7,000,000 flower bulbs are planted annually in the park, which covers an area of 32 hectares.

Not only can many flower bulbs be found at Keukenhof, but thousands of tourists visit this flower garden every day. Here you can see tulips in all kinds of colors and you can have a long and exciting day, in a very nice environment. There are several restaurants and cafes within the garden, and this can be made as a full-day excursion from Amsterdam, for those in love with lovers.

The best time to visit Keukenhof is normally in mid-April. The garden is normally open from the middle of March until the middle of May every year.

The entrance fee is around 20 Euro per person. It is a little bit complicated to get to Keukenhof with public transportation, and therefore we rather recommend joining some kind of arranged day trip to Keukenhof.
