Van Gogh along the Seine – an exhibition.

This exhibition lets us learn more about how France and its culture had a great impact on the life of many painters, including Vincent Van Gogh. Visitors can see paintings created by Vincent van Gogh, Paul Signac, Georges Seurat, Emile Bernard and Charles Angrand.

If you are a fan of Vincent Van Gogh and want to learn even more about him, you should definitely follow his life in chronological order in the museum itself, and not just look at the temporary exhibition.

If you want to learn even more about Van Gogh and how he was influenced by France, then there is another temporary exhibition coming up in the National Gallery in London from September 2024 worth visiting. There you can see famous Van Gogh paintings such as the Sunflowers, Van Gogh’s Chair, Starry Night over the Rhone, and The Yellow House (a painting normally residing in the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam).
