U2 AmsterdamU2 will visit Holland next year in 2015 and they will give four concerts in the capital of Holland in Amsterdam in the occasion of their world tour.

U2 is an Irish rock band which was formed in 1976 and consists Bono who is the lead singer, The Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen, Jr. U2 released their first debut album the Boy in 1980 and since that they came out with several albums during their career, in total they have released 13 albums. U2 came out with their latest album Songs of Innocence in this year in September 2014. In 2015 the Irish rock band will start their world tour and they will visit plenty of countries and cities during the tour. The Innocence + Experience Tour is the band’s 15th upcoming tour and the band will give 60 shows all over the world. In this occasion U2 will be on stage in Amsterdam as well where they will give 4 concerts. The first concert in Amsterdam will be on Tuesday 8th September in 2015, the second concert will be on Wednesday 9th September in 2015, the third concert will be on Saturday 12th September in 2015 and the last U2 concert will be on the following day on Sunday 13th September in 2015. Andre Rieu concert in Amsterdam

Andre Rieu is a Dutch violinist and conductor. He started to study violin at the age of five and later he studied violin at the Conservatoire Royal in Liège and at the Conservatorium Maastricht. From 1974 to 1977 he studied at the Music Academy in Brussels. At the university he performed the Gold and Silver Waltz and he decided to pursue the waltz form. He got worldwide known by forming the Johann Strauss Orchestra. He formed his orchestra and his own production company in 1987. In the beginning the Johann Strauss Orchestra had around 12 members however nowadays the number of the musicians in the orchestra is between 60 and 150.

Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra is on tour in 2014. They will perform in several different countries and cities during the tour. At the concerts visitors can experience the magical play of Andre Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra. They will perform in many European countries and multiple cities during the world tour. The name of the tour is Eine Nacht in Venedig. They will perform in Holland as well. The concert in Holland will take place in Amsterdam on Thursday 13th November at the Ziggo Dome. World Rowing Championship 2014 in Amsterdam

From August 24th until August 31st it is time for the World Rowing Championship 2014 in Amsterdam. Our fantastic city has been chosen for this event, and it will bring lots of rowing fans to town, making the popular city of Amsterdam even more attractive.

There will be loads of action during this event. The event will be arranged at Bosbaan, a magnificent arena built around 1930. Throughout history there has been several championships arranged here. In the start of the 2000s the area was widened, making space for even more athletes competing simultanously, making it even better. That is why we are so happy for the World Championship being arranged here, as this is one of the best places for such an event on earth.
